Now since schizoids represent only between 1 to 7.5%* of the population, doesn’t this suggests that our society is primarily composed of cretins?
*(Statistics on the number of schizoids are notorious for their imperfection since one of the trait is to not concider self “sick”, so not really consulting… 1% is the official percentage of diagnosis, 7.5% is an estimated figure often referred to)

Well, no big talk yesterday… I know, avoiding the issue is not a way to resolve it, I am an adult. But I am also a schizoid, can’t really start that discussion either…I’ll hide behind any pretext, being busy, a good show, reading my email… Pathetic… I just can’t start that topic… (Foolishly hoping she is digesting some of the info she read on SPD).

We humans, never learn it seems…. Ok picture this: My wife and I are a bit on the fritz because I was particularly “distant” those past 3-4 weeks. (Imagine that).
I do have some of those streaks where it is “worse” than usual. I mean there was the decision to go back in France, I already forsee hordes of stranger visiting my home for sale (yark!)… Sure, I went a bit deeper to cope with all that.
It’s not the first time, and usually I resurface, we reconnect slowly and are back on tracks after a bit of a discussion about why obsessed me lately. Tonight we had that reconnection process well on the way when I totally fucked it up… I told her!
Shit man, after 14 years together, and at least 20 passed introverting, you would think I’d know better!!!

Only in London… A recent NHS (British National Health services) report shows the use of cosmetic surgery to “repair” the hymen of girls and women. Though I easily understand the value of this operation after let’s say a sexual aggression (it is practiced as such in France and US as part of psychotherapy), it is the particular used of it in more and more cases in the UK that troubles me:
Muslim girls promised to a husband back in their country have to be virgins. But you know, life in London, the legendary warms of British boys and all, well, they kind of tested the goods. So… They are undergoing the procedure so to be a “virgin again” for the wedding (a red blood like substance is even added in the reconstruction process to fake all details)!
And guess what, the British tax payers are paying for it! Amazing… Please if you do believe, at least have the guts to go all the way, I rather prefer extremists than this… Seriously how much more hypocrite can it be? The extremist is stupid, sure, but at least I can “understand” him, but this? It’s wrong on so many levels that I can just shake my head and shrug…

Ha the polemic around that little “D” at the end of SP(D), it’s around, it’s in the air. Can we, should we dim as “disordered” everyone that thinks differently (that is “not within society norms”)?
Evidently my site being called “A schizoid Personality” And most of my references section having “disorder” put between quotation marks (then I stopped for more clarity), that gives you an idea of where I stand…
Nonetheless I admit that “What does not conform is disordered” is a valid logic. It’s also a simple one (often used in dictatorships) that even computers have outgrown (see fuzzy logic v/s pure binary logic).

So the other day I come back from work. I am in the car, driving in the right lane, circulation is pretty normal for 5pm.As I cross the 407 (a big interstate), I know the street I am in will soon go from three to two lines. So I speed up a bit, pass a few cars, signal, and inject my car into the middle lane soon to become the right one, plenty of room.A surreal light and sound show take place behind me. A huge black SUV is horning and flashing all the lights is got at me… Since it does not break my calm, I notice the SUV pulling on the left line without signalling and so doing forcing a silver Camry to break pretty hard, while at the same time I am slowing down and stopping at the red light. I already know what is happening…
